Alanya web design
In Alanya the customer does not arrive in one language. I build sites that work in Turkish, English, Russian, German and Arabic — the site you are reading is in the same five.
The real issue here is language
In Alanya, the customer of a hotel, a restaurant or an estate agent types into Google in their own language. If the site is only in Turkish, that search never sees you. The browser’s "translate" button does not do this job either: Google ranks the page in its own language, not a translated rendering of it.
The right setup gives every language its own address: `/en/`, `/ru/`, `/de/`. Each page tells the search engine where its counterparts in the other languages are, so someone searching from Russia lands on the Russian page and someone from Germany on the German one.
Who I work for in Alanya
- Hotels, guesthouses and apartments — room pages and direct booking requests
- Restaurants and beach clubs — a multilingual QR menu
- Tours, boats and transfers — a request form asking for the date and party size
- Estate agents — listing pages, a map, explanatory pages aimed at foreign buyers
- Clinics and aesthetics — health tourism pages and staff-based appointments
Getting out from under the platforms
If every booking comes through an intermediary platform, you pay commission on every sale and the customer’s contact details never reach you. A booking that comes from your own site solves both.
I am not saying leave the platforms — visibility there is worth something on its own. But whether the guest who came once writes to you directly next time depends on your site existing.
Frequently asked
- Who does the translation?
- I prepare and correct the first translation. But for pages that bear directly on a sale — a menu, a room description — I recommend having someone who speaks the language read it. A bad translation loses customers, and that is not a coding matter.
- Do I need all five languages?
- No, and usually not. You know which languages arrive from your guest book or your existing bookings. Starting with two or three and adding later is the sounder way; a language page left empty does harm.
- Will the booking system be inside the site?
- For rooms, boats and tours a request form asking the date and party size goes into the site: the customer reaches you without being thrown to another site, and you confirm. A booking engine that holds its own availability and confirms instantly does not exist yet — I say that up front. For work that runs on a staff calendar, such as clinics, aesthetics and repair shops, Yerkapp connects; that is an appointment system, it does not sell rooms or boat seats.
- You are not in Alanya — how does it work remotely?
- The whole job runs remotely. Photographs and product details from you, the rest from me. You see an interim version at a live address and comment on it.
- What does it cost?
- A number given before the scope is clear only misleads; a five-page brochure site and a system that takes orders are not the same job. Write down what you want, we settle the scope together, and we talk about price after that.
Which languages do your customers arrive in?
Write about your business and which countries your customers come from. We will work out together which languages make sense to start with.
